Death Penalty Goes on Trial in North Carolina .

USA Death Row Dweller

From WSJ
Last year, North Carolina enacted what's known as the Racial Justice Act, requiring judges to let any inmate off death row if the judge finds that race was a "significant factor" in the death sentence.

"If there was no capital crime, there wouldn't be capital punishment. "

An accurate formula indeed.

More bluntly, any attempt to discard Capital Punishment is a case of value reversal and substitution where the guilty is portrayed as the victim, the society substitutes the guilty and the former victim's family concerns vanish in the air.

Furthermore introducing Racial Justice is a fallacy, just as any attemps to qualify justice thus restricting its meaning. For instance Social Justice is an unwritten thus empty concept many europeans boast about to lure the gullibles.

Furthermore we are witnessing the disaggregation of the abolishing nation-states, mostly located in Europa, America and Africa, in the latter some at an astonishing fast pace, while the others keep consolidating.

Further more it introduce for good inequality before the law. Consider the retalation murder of the murderer's own mother by say, a member of the victim's family. The latter would be sentenced to death without being able to appeal for the benefit of the racial justice act. Thus for the same crime typology, different sentence based on race.

A basic assumption endorsed by any european national right party enounces that Capital Punishment plays the role of the keystone in any social building based on laws. Therefore ,had it to be extracted ,everything is to fall appart.
